How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it easy to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Minitab, Siemens Opcenter, Python with scikit-learn, MATLAB, Arbin MITS Pro, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for optimising formation protocols, detecting anomalous self-discharge in ageing, and classifying cells for module assembly. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Explain the assembly and filling stages of cells.
Design electrochemical formation protocols.
Define ageing strategies and self-discharge detection.
Classify cells by capacity and impedance.
Implement online quality controls.

Frequently asked questions
The programme totals 800 hours, spread over 6 to 8 months. That is an average of 10 to 15 hours per week, compatible with a full-time job.
Work is carried out with Minitab, Siemens Opcenter, Python with scikit-learn, MATLAB and Arbin MITS Pro. Free, academic or evaluation versions are used, and the tutor indicates a free alternative where one exists.
An own diploma from SEIUM upon passing continuous assessment and the integrating project. It is in-house training, not an official qualification from the Spanish Ministry of Education.
Yes. Modules passed in a course or postgraduate diploma in the same area are recognised towards the higher programme. Check the recognition policy when you enrol.
