How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a dedicated technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE (ENOVIA), AVEVA Marine, Jira, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real engineering change control cases (ECR/ECO), physical and functional configuration audits, and product structure modelling. Assessment is continuous across each module, plus a final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Explain the principles of configuration management according to ISO 10007.
Structure the product and its data throughout the lifecycle.
Apply the engineering change control process.
Configure PLM tools for the naval environment.
Maintain configuration during production.
