How you'll learn
Delivered 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MATLAB 5G Toolbox, NVIDIA Sionna, ns-3 with mmWave module, OpenAirInterface, srsRAN, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Trials are based on realistic simulations of beam management procedures, prototyping on SDR platforms, and evaluation of AI algorithms on channel datasets. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the vision, use cases and timeline of 6G.
Explain the 5G NR beam management procedures.
Analyse channel feedback schemes and codebooks.
Design open network architectures with intelligent control applications.
Evaluate candidate physical-layer technologies for 6G.
