Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it is compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Autodesk Alias, Blender, SolidWorks, KeyShot and Adobe Photoshop, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: benchmarking of naked and sports models, component packaging and type-approval requirements checklists. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final integrating project.

Standards covered: Regulation (EU) No 168/2013, Delegated Regulation (EU) No 134/2014, Delegated Regulation (EU) No 44/2014, UNECE Regulation No 41, UNECE Regulation No 53, UNECE Regulation No 81, UNECE Regulation No 60.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of Regulation (EU) No 168/2013, Delegated Regulation (EU) No 134/2014 and Delegated Regulation (EU) No 44/2014 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Autodesk Alias, Blender, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Adobe Photoshop, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:the complete design project for a naked or sports motorcycle, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
