Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online learning on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulation and applied exercises. The working software is LS-DYNA, IPG CarMaker, SAP Global Trade Services and Polarion, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Cases are studied on real procedures: a C-NCAP, JNCAP and KNCAP rating strategy for a model, a vehicle import file for China and a technical and digital localisation plan for Japan. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: C-NCAP 2024 management regulation, NASVA JNCAP protocols, MOLIT KNCAP protocols, GB/T 32960.3-2016, China's Personal Information Protection Law, 2021 Provisions on Automotive Data Security Management, EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement, EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of the C-NCAP, JNCAP and KNCAP protocols and the EU-Japan and EU-Korea trade agreements applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:LS-DYNA, IPG CarMaker, SAP Global Trade Services and Polarion, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:A market entry plan for a vehicle covering NCAP strategy, importation, technical and digital localisation, costs and launch schedule, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
