Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so you can combine it with your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. The working software is Python, MATLAB, SKF @ptitude, Primavera P6 and AVEVA PI System, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures for equipment diagnosis through vibration analysis, RCM analysis of systems, and empirical anomaly detection modelling. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: 10 CFR 50.65 (maintenance rule), SAE JA1011, ISO 20816, ISO 55000, INPO AP-913, ISO 18436 (condition monitoring qualification), IAEA SSG-48.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of 10 CFR 50.65, SAE JA1011 and ISO 20816 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Python, MATLAB, SKF @ptitude, Primavera P6 and AVEVA PI System, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:A predictive maintenance programme for a plant system covering RCM analysis, technique selection, monitoring design, analytical model and economic assessment, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
