How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme is compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens PCS 7, AVEVA System Platform, Ignition and CODESYS, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied on real procedures: PLC programming with simulation, alarm rationalisation and design of high-performance displays. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: IEC 61131-3:2013, IEC 62264-1:2013, ISA-18.2-2016, ISA-101.01-2015, IEC 61511-1:2016, IEC 62443-3-3:2013, ISA-88.01, ISO 11064-5:2008.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
