Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable materials, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MLflow, Kubeflow, Apache Kafka, TimescaleDB and Node-RED, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Real procedures are studied, such as deploying soft sensors in a process plant, an IIoT data platform with a Unified Namespace and a retraining pipeline with drift monitoring. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: IEC 62264-1, IEC 62541, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), IEC 62443-3-3, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, IEC 61512-1, IEC 63278-1.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of IEC 62264-1, IEC 62541 and the EU AI Act applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:MLflow, Kubeflow, Apache Kafka, TimescaleDB and Node-RED, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:An end-to-end industrial AI project, from data architecture and model development to an MLOps pipeline, deployment and monitoring, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
