Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, making it compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Vector CANoe, AWS IoT FleetWise, Apache Kafka, Grafana and Python, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: DTC analysis at fleet scale, anomaly detection in vehicle signals and battery state-of-health prognosis. Assessment is continuous for each module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO 14229-1, ISO 13400-2, ISO 15031, ISO 22900-2, Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Regulation (EU) 2019/631 (OBFCM), ISO 20078.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 14229-1, ISO 13400-2 and ISO 15031 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Vector CANoe, AWS IoT FleetWise, Apache Kafka, Grafana and Python, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:a complete diagnostics, telemetry and edge analytics project, from on-board collection and edge strategy to cloud platform, anomaly detection, prognostics and privacy analysis, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
