Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is SolidWorks, Ansys Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor and Simcenter Amesim, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: structural validation of attachments, configuration of ISOBUS implements and PTO selection. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO 500-1, ISO 730, ISO 11783 (ISOBUS), ISO 4254-1, UNE-EN ISO 5674, Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, UNE-EN 474-1.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 500-1, ISO 730 and ISO 11783 (ISOBUS) applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:SolidWorks, Ansys Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor and Simcenter Amesim, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:The development of an attachment or power take-off for a real carrier machine, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.

Define the attachment or PTO and the requirements of the carrier machine.
Conceptual design
Develop the conceptual design of the attachment and its interface.
Structural calculation
Carry out the structural and fatigue calculation and define the drive and control.
Safety and manufacturing
Analyse safety and prepare the manufacturing and validation plans.
Master's Thesis
