How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so you can combine it with your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell, MATLAB/Simulink, JMAG and PLECS, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for reading efficiency maps, calculating transmission reductions and configuring controllers on a test bench. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final project.
Standards covered: IEC 60034-1, UN/ECE Regulation No. 85, UN/ECE Regulation No. 136, ISO 13064-1, ISO 6469-3, Regulation (EU) No 168/2013, IEC 60529.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
