Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

Delivered 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ReliaSoft Weibull++, ReliaSoft ALTA, Minitab, R (WeibullR package) and Python with reliability, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: HALT campaigns in repetitive-shock vibration chambers, HASS screening on manufacturing lines and accelerated life tests with Arrhenius extrapolation. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.

Standards covered: JEDEC JESD47, JEDEC JESD22-A104, IEC 60068-2-14, JEDEC JESD22-A108, JEDEC JESD22-A110, IEC 61649, IEC 61164, AEC-Q100.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of JEDEC JESD47, JEDEC JESD22-A104 and IEC 60068-2-14 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:ReliaSoft Weibull++, ReliaSoft ALTA, Minitab, R (WeibullR package) and Python with reliability, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:an accelerated testing project combining a HALT plan, a HASS profile, an Arrhenius life test and Weibull analysis, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
