How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded lectures and a dedicated technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulation and applied exercises. The working software is Pathfinder, maritimeEXODUS, NAPA, Microsoft Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Assessments are based on real procedures: evacuation analysis of a passenger ship, security audit of a cruise terminal and assessment of a passenger complaint. Assessment is continuous, by module, plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the international and European regulatory framework for passenger transport.
Analyse the safety and evacuation requirements for passenger ships.
Prepare security plans in accordance with the ISPS Code.
Apply the liability regime of the Athens Convention.
Handle complaints in line with passenger rights at sea.
