How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM Institute campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine it with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is SimaPro, openLCA, Sphera GaBi, advanced Excel, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real life cycle assessment procedures for platforms, operational emissions inventories and environmental audits of installations. Assessment is continuous, module by module, plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Identify the environmental impacts of a land platform.
Interpret the applicable environmental legal framework.
Carry out a life cycle assessment in accordance with ISO 14040 and 14044.
Quantify the carbon footprint of the product and its operation.
Propose reduction measures in design and operation.
