How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetable: the student progresses at their own pace within the intake, which makes it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is NAPA Fleet Intelligence, DNV Emissions Connect, Python with pandas, Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for analysing consumption data from a scheduled line, speed optimisation under timetable constraints, and sizing of port electrical connection. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Characterise the energy profile of a ferry in service.
Optimise speed, schedules and manoeuvres to reduce consumption.
Assess electrification and shore connection in port.
Manage hotel and propulsion loads on board.
Measure and verify savings using operational data.
