How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Apache Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Power BI, Python (pandas), in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical exercises are based on real procedures for data protection impact assessments, data governance audits and big data use-case analysis. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the uses of big data in defence and its value chain.
Apply the privacy and data protection framework to defence systems.
Identify biases and ethical risks in data analysis.
Design data governance and security policies.
Assign responsibilities and human oversight mechanisms.
