How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ReliaSoft BlockSim, Python (pandas), Microsoft Power BI, AVEVA PI System, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures: FMEA of battery components, state-of-health estimation from operational data, and review of LTSA and tolling contract clauses. Assessment is continuous, per module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Identify the failure modes of a BESS and quantify its reliability.
Estimate degradation and state of health from operational data.
Interpret capacity, efficiency and availability guarantees.
Analyse O&M, LTSA and storage revenue contracts.
Assess the bankability of contractual structures.
