How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it possible to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is SCADE Suite, LDRA, VectorCAST, MATLAB/Simulink, Polyspace, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Assessments are based on real procedures for MC/DC structural coverage analysis, requirements traceability reviews and certification SOI audits. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Place DO-178C within the certification process for airborne systems.
Prepare the required software plans (PSAC, SDP, SVP, SCMP, SQAP).
Define high- and low-level requirements with full traceability.
Design verification strategies appropriate to each DAL level.
Apply structural coverage analysis, including MC/DC.

Frequently asked questions
The programme comprises 300 hours in total, spread over 3 to 5 months. That is on average between 10 and 15 hours per week, compatible with a full-time job.
You work with SCADE Suite, LDRA, VectorCAST, MATLAB/Simulink, Polyspace. Free, academic or evaluation versions are used, and the tutor indicates the free alternative where one exists.
An in-house SEIUM diploma upon passing the continuous assessment and the integrative project. It is in-house training, not an official title from the Ministry.
Yes. Modules passed in a course or Postgraduate Diploma in the same area are recognised towards the higher programme. Check the recognition policy when you enrol.
